Penticton Indian Band Development Corporation (PIBDC) exists to ensure the certainty of the traditional qualities and values, and to foster the development of a sustainable economy with beneficial returns for the Penticton Indian Band.

Our Services

Economic Development
In partnership with other aboriginal, non-aboriginal and government agencies, PIBDC is committed to build on community strengths and create employment for aboriginal people by economic development, community capacity building, attracting new business and investment, expanding existing businesses, and training and supporting band member entrepreneurs.

Business Counseling
Starting or expanding a business requires a great deal of research and planning to be successful. PIBDC can provide business counseling and advice to small and medium Aboriginal businesses and entrepreneurs for the start-up of a new business or expansion of an existing one. We can help entrepreneurs put their new business ideas to work or assist in the development of a business plan geared towards expansion or revamping of an existing business.

Business Services
PIBDC will assist the any PIB Band Member with Business Plan development, provide assistance and help with applications to other Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal Lenders. PIBDC will provide business advice and support to get the business up and running and assist in business aftercare once the business is established.
