Where We Are

The Penticton Indian Band is located on beautiful bench land in the southwestern portion of the Okanagan Valley. The rolling hillsides add to the beauty of the landscape and provide a number of developable bench lands. Penticton Indian Band is the largest reserve in the Province of British Columbia. The reservce itself bordes the Distric of Summerland to the north and City of Penticton to the east as well as Okanagan and Skaha Lakes. In addition, the close proximity of the community to Highway 97 and the City of Penticton add to the land value.

The Penticton Indian Band comprises of three reserves. Penticton IR#1 is located at the south end of Okanagan Lake, immediately west of the City of Penticton IR#1 comprises an area of 19,277 hectares (47,630acres). Penticton IR#2 is located within the City of Penticton and comprises of an area of 13.1ha (32.4 acres) in size. Penticton IR#3A is located adjacent the northwest corner of IR#1 and has an area of 146.5ha (362 acres).
